Collaborators who wish to submit unpublished observations have several possibilities for their report.
Online-reportSingle records of findings can be entered directly on this homepage per online-report. Only complete and reliable records will be considered. Online-reported data will be integrated in the fundamental database and updated in the online-version at intervals of several weeks.
Paper formatInformal notes, especially of single finds, are very time consuming to administrate. Thus, new observations should best be reported digitised (see below). If this is impossible, we request to insert your data in standardised sheets (see documents). Already existing hand-written or typed lists can be digitised by the ÖMG after prior consultation.
Digital tablesFor digital reports a masterfile is provided as MS-Excel-table (see documents). The structure of this table minimises the operating time needed for importing observations in the database. Data providers are requested to consider the included explanations for filling in the table.
BioOfficeVery interested and active data providers may borrow a licence of the database programm "BioOffice" for digitising and reporting of their observation data (see Software).
