The Austrian Fungi Database is administrated with the database program "BioOffice".

Die ÖMG holds a limited number of program-licences, which can be borrowed to interested and active data providers for digitising and reporting of their observation data. The licence includes access to all necessary and useful tables, drop-down lists, look-ups and digital maps available by the ÖMG.

In the beginning successful use of the program needs the willingness to learn the program functions. Basic knowledge of computer applications (system software MS-Windows, Explorer, MS-Office, MS-Access) are advantageous. Data input must precisely follow given guidelines.

The lending is limited to 12 months. It can be prolonged. Presently it is free, in future a minor nominal fee will be charged.
